“While I Was Out” is an improvised album made of two parts. Sonically speaking they’re very different one from another but there’s some common ground.
Each part has its own distinctive sound generator: mixer, guitar.
Two spaces with their vibrations floating with no apparent interactions, empty rooms with no doors, no windows or any exit.
Claustrophobia. Nosebleeds.

A sort of out-of-body experience where the performer keeps the distance from the performance itself, projecting the matter in a dreamlike dimension where randomness seems to trace the path for the listener to give the audio material a shape, a meaning.

“While I Was Out” is the moment you’re not responsible of what’s going on inside (or at least it’s a good excuse).

Both parts suffer from a lack of something and are characterized by strong limitations but somehow every track finds a way to evolve, to change or at least every piece has a beginning and an end.
Maybe it’s a metaphor of our times where a lot of things move without really moving, with no direction, with unrealistic expectations.
Maybe it’s just a joke, a noisy one.
